Turn-Key Physical Education Training

pe-1

The program is intended for all youths from their entry into the school/organization through age 14 and aids in the development of more fundamentally sound students and athletes.

This comprehensive program provides teachers and coaches with an age appropriate schedule of movement skill development protocols. Adapted to fit your calendar and the needs of your school or organization, the plan provides a list of exercise protocols, the proper form for the drill, the developmental purpose for incorporating the drill, a video of the drill being properly executed, and tips for common errors to be watched for and corrected. This cloud based, mobile friendly program enables coaches and teachers to take the program with them to class or practice, and provides a road map for the effective and orderly execution of the drills. Included in the program are educational support tools that explain the scientific and practical applications of the program.

Performance Testing

performance-testing

Through our partnership with Athletic Performance Testing, interested organizations can expand the focus of the program to include testing of their students utilizing the most state-of-the-art technology available.

Learn to Move Academy will send its staff of experts to conduct an initial performance assessment of the program participants. This includes conduction a Functional Movement Screen, which, put simply, is a ranking and grading system that documents movement patterns that are key to normal function. By screening these patterns, Learn to Move experts can readily identify functional limitations and asymmetries. These are issues that can reduce the effects of functional training and physical conditioning and distort body awareness. Participants are given a score, which is used to target problems and track progress. This scoring system is directly linked to the most beneficial corrective exercises to restore mechanically sound movement patterns. In addition, participants are tested using equipment designed to provide accurate data on speed, power output, symmetrical development, and much more.

Upon completion of the program, Learn to Move’s experts can come back and re-test, allowing quantitative tracking of the progress of the program participants.

Mobile Ready

Our entire program can be viewed on all electronic devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and even smartphones. Your educators will always have the information they need, when they need it!

The LTMA Lesson Plan is mobile ready, enabling teachers and coaches to implement the schedule protocols whenever and wherever needed. By logging into the database, members are provided with quick links to their specific program to offer the sequence of drills, descriptions of each drill, the prupose of the drill, tips to watch for, and a video of the drill. This can be accessed on any electronic device, providing coaches and teachers with the information they need when they need it.
